I believe so it doesnt support the DNP3 protocol in oracle service bus architecture, though a custom protocol can be added to the OSB.

Okay, Correct me if I am wrong, I am in a supposition that no device can directly be integrated to SGG until and unless it has any HeadEnd?

To a certain extent you are right that Smart Grid Gateway cannot be connected with another device unless having any headends, but a senior level oracle expert can connect it via the ODI as clustering the BIG Data resources.
